Ready to Rise: Inside Counsel Honors 100 Female Lawyers Ready to be a Fortune 500 GC
Inside Counsel just released its third annual R3-100 list, "honoring 100 women who have the potential to become general counsel of a Fortune 500 company within three years." The list is an initiative of the Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) network, and was compiled by Inside Counsel, with help from Major, Lindsey & Africa, Heidrick & Struggles, BarkerGilmore, and Evers Legal.
Although the honor has been around only two years, already four earlier honorees have made the leap to Fortune 500 GC. What does it take to make the list and the leap? Suzanne Rich Folsom (General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Senior Vice President – Government Affairs at U.S. Steel) and Kelly Mahon Tullier (Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Visa) say:
